What you may do with AyurPal’s content, and how classical and modern sources are handled.
The classical Ayurvedic texts (Charaka Saṁhitā, Suśruta Saṁhitā, Aṣṭāṅga Hṛdaya and others) are ancient and in the public domain in their original Sanskrit. Specific modern translations remain their translators’ copyright — AyurPal cites but does not reproduce them. AyurPal’s own writing and structure are part of the Bharatiya “Pal” ecosystem; please do not copy wholesale.
AyurPal is provided for educational use as-is, without warranty. By using it you accept that it is not medical advice and that you remain responsible for decisions about your health.
Do not rely on AyurPal for diagnosis or treatment, do not present its content as professional medical advice, and do not scrape or republish it wholesale.
AyurPal is a static, offline-first app. It does not require an account and does not collect personal health data. Anything you type into feedback is sent only when you choose to send it. Bookmarks are stored on your own device.
All content is educational and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Advanced therapies are clinical procedures delivered only by a qualified Vaidya. For red-flag symptoms, seek emergency care.
AI is used to organise and phrase sourced content, not to generate medical claims. Errors are possible; report anything that looks wrong via Feedback and it will be checked against the sources.
